Iron Claw Strength Feats is proud to present The Iron Claw Challenge! This awesome test of mastery in the the skills of the Iron Claw is a first of its kind. The rules are simple! Pass the challenge in the time alloted and you will earn an entry level position on our Grip Masters board! All who pass this challenge will receive an Iron Claw Strength Feats Master Practitioner Challenge Coin and their names will appear on the grip masters page of the Iron Claw Strength Feats website! Here is what the challenge entails. You have 10 minutes to complete the following: 1. Rip an entire deck of bicycle brand poker cards completely in half. Instructional cards and jokers included. The brand of cards must be Bicycle! No exceptions! 2. Bend a 5" long X 1/4" thick cold rolled steel bar. When you have finished the bend, both ends of the nail need to be within a 2 inch marker. For double underhand technique you can use an Ironmind Blue Nail that is 1/4 X 6". 3. Bend a St. Croix #2 Ultra lite horseshoe into a heart shape. When you have finished the bend, both ends or tines of the shoe need to be within a 2 inch marker. 4. Drive a 16d nail through a 1 inch thick pine board. You must put a balloon underneath this board and the balloon must pop as you drive the nail through. When the balloon pops your time stops! THE RULES OF THE CHALLENGE: 1. Everything must be video taped in one action. No cuts are allowed. 2. Every item must be presented close to the camera before you begin to insure legitimacy. Your time will not start until you have presented everything and have your nail and horseshoe wrapped. 3. Your cards must be counted out in front of the camera and you must show that they are of Bicycle brand. You may brace this tear if you like. 4. Your horseshoe must be shown close up to ensure that it is a St. Croix #2. You may brace this bend if you like. 5. Your steel bar must be measured in front of the camera. You will be on the honor system making sure that it is cold roll and not hot roll. No braced bending is allowed with your cold rolled steel bar! 6. Your board must be shown to have no holes in it. 7. You may use wraps for your nail and horseshoe and you can pre-wrap them before your time begins but there is no double wrapping allowed. Each wrap cannot exceed 4 1/2" X 12" in it's entirety! Leather is OK as well as any other supple cloth . 8. You cannot wear any gloves during any part of this challenge. 9. You are allowed one wash cloth to protect your hand while nail driving. If your balloon does not pop while you drive the nail through, you must redo it until the balloon pops. This can severely eat up your time so make sure and pop that balloon. 10. You may keep all of your destroyed items. All we need is your video tape or DVD. Video tapes must be VHS or DV only! 11. If you go over the alloted time amount you do not pass the challenge!!
