Being inducted into The Hall of fame board at Iron Claw Strength
Feats Is the most prestigious recognition anyone can receive within our ranks. There is no given test for this recognition
for it takes an incident within a life or death sitiuation where your grip strength and mental conditioning prevails.
The
following is the occurance that has led to the birth of this page and to our first inducted member. I love her with all my
heart and I'm so proud and blessed that she is my wife!
Stephanie McElroy was walking her Great Dane (Ike) and had
him on a leash made of nylon webbing. This is webbing that can withstand about 500 lbs. of weight. She took her dog onto an
elevator and as the door shut and the elevator started to move, she realized that the end of the leash which she had let go
of, was trapped in the closed door. Her dog was pulled to the floor with great force. without thinking she grabbed the leash
and pulled with everything she had. Her finger snapped under the preasure and the bone came right through the skin. She still
held on and a half a second later the webbing snapped, saving her dog from certain death.
Her grip and mental strength
held out when it meant the most and that is what Iron Claw training is truely all about. If you cannot hold on to something
it will not matter how strong the rest of your body is. Stephanie held on even after her finger had snapped and that is as
real world as it gets. She can bend Nails, rip through thick phone books and full decks of cards as well. Did I mention that
she is turning 40 on the 30th of this month? Well she is and she is also embarking on a new career starting in August. She
is entering the Tulare/Kings County Police Academy.
Congradulations Stephanie!! Law Enforcement is going to be happy
to have you. It gives me great pleasure inducting you as our First Hall of Fame member!
